Very thorough!

This is the first time I have attended a class in this format and wondered how effective it would be. It was extremely effective and I would definitely be interested in attending other classes from Dr. Wolfe and EyeCode. The instructor was very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about billing and coding topics, this will change the way I practice!

EyeCode Education has truly helped me gain confidence in the way I handle billing and coding. I no longer hover between two different procedure codes wondering which is the most appropriate. It has also inspired me to re-train my pretest staff on how to gather a complete ROS and PFSH. I placed a Simple Coder Sheet in each of my exam rooms and refer to it daily. Thank you for breaking down this topic in a way that is easy to understand.

Dr. Wolfe does an excellent job with explanations and examples. Appreciated the text downloads as well as the short videos with case examples. The updates at the end about the new E/M guidelines was helpful and answered some of our questions

As a recent graduate and young OD, I truly appreciate how simple Dr. Wolfe breaks down the coding elements between 92-/99- codes. The supplemental material was also helpful in understanding ABNs, chair cost, how to set your fee schedule, and ways to save time prior to the patient coming in- all helpful knowledge for new grads!!! Prior to the course, I have not sat down and processed what/how to use the E & M documentation guidelines. I highly recommend this to recent grads, residents, or any OD who needs a refresher on coding. Let's not leave any money on the table! Thank you, Dr. Wolfe!

I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to become an expert biller AND protect themselves in case of an audit. PROS: - Organized. The information is broken down into sections that can easily be referenced again at a later date for a refresher. - Convenient. Being able to take the course online and at your own pace is great. There is no lost revenue from travel/a day out of the office. - Detailed Knowledge. Dr. Wolfe is very knowledgeable in this space. I have attended 2 live coding lectures in the past and done one online prior to this. Dr. Wolfe hits every point and lays it out in an easy to process manner. - Simple Coder Reference Sheet. A valuable tool that this course teaches you how to use. Something that you can use to help code each encounter. - Extras. Some nice bonus material like how to calculate chair cost, ABN's, fee calculator, etc. - Appropriate for all levels. Dr. Wolfe breaks everything down into the basics and builds it up from there. If you are a new grad, you will be able to go through this course without being overwhelmed. If you have been in practice for a long time, it will help you refine your billing to make sure you are not 'leaving money on the table' as well as to make sure that you are documenting appropriately to protect yourself in the event of an audit. CONS: - You have to put in the time to go through the material. Let's face it, there are more fun things to do in life! However, this course makes it less painful and it pays dividends - over and over and over. HAPPY CODING!
